Our sausages are proudly made by our resident butcher, Peter, who has 40 years of experience in the industry. He hand makes fresh batches of sausages daily using prime cut steak from our organic cattle herd. These are meatier and more satisfying than most bangers out there, they have a beautiful blushing red colour that only gets richer as the tomato cooks. The end result is a distinctive traditional flavour with added zest from the acidity in the tomato.
Our organic sausages contain no preservatives, colouring or additives, so please eat within 5 days or freeze on day of arrival.
Most sausages contain E-numbers, sulphites, emulsifiers, preservatives to extend their shelf life, but this goes against our ethos of natural, clean, healthy 100% grass-fed organic meat so our sausages, burgers and meatballs are preservative free.
Please note: If you wish to freeze our sausages, we recommend removing them from the packaging and placing them in a freezer bag to prevent the sausages from sticking to the packaging. After using various types of sausage packaging over the years, we have found our current packaging has the best balance of being eco-friendly, as well as keeping the sausages safe in transit.
