Where do you deliver?
We deliver across England, Wales and Scotland using courier. We are unable to deliver to certain Scottish Highlands postcodes, as well as the Isle of Man and Isle of Wight.
How do you deliver?
We use a courier called APC. Deliveries are sent on a next day service (unless you are in the Scottish Highlands), and all orders are packed with wool liners and ice packs to keep your order fresh for two days in transit.
Is there a delivery charge and minimum spend?
Due to the nature of our goods, they require a chilled delivery that arrives the next day once dispatched. Some post codes, usually in Northern Scotland, require a two day transit, and our goods are packaged to withstand transit for this long.
There is a minimum spend of £27.50.
We invest in thick walled cardboard boxes, insulating wool liners and ice packs. This allows us to dispatch our produce fresh and the temperature of the box is maintained during transit.
Orders under £50: £12.99 delivery charge
Orders £50 - £79.99: £8.99 delivery charge
Orders over £80: Free
When should I expect to receive my order?
Once an order is placed, it is generally dispatched within 1-2 working days (excluding Fridays) on an overnight delivery service. For example, if you place your order on a Sunday, it will usually be dispatched by Tuesday, and delivered the following day (unless your post code is on a two-day transit).
What if I am not home for my delivery?
Our courier is automatically instructed to leave your order in a place that they deem to be safe if you are not in, but if you have more specific instructions there is an option to add these at checkout.
Is everything organic?
All our milk, beef, veal, lamb, mutton, chicken, pork, bacon, gammons, sausages, burgers, cheese are organic and certified by UK organic certifying bodies. We also stock a range of organic deli items unless stated otherwise. If they are not organic, they are Fairtrade or ethically produced and we think they complement our range whilst fitting with our ethos.
Do you use Bovaer or ritual slaughter methods?
No. We do not, nor ever will, use bovaer or any ritual slaughter methods.
Do you do wholesale?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide wholesale pricing, however you are free to order as much as you wish on our website if stock is available.
Can I freeze your meat and milk?
Our organic meat is delivered fresh so you can freeze it, and you can also freeze our raw milk. Some items are dispatched frozen, which cannot be re-frozen - these are clearly marked on our website.
